How The Sausage Man is responding to the Coronavirus Problem
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our stance amid growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. We would also like to outline the measures that have been put in place to protect both staff and customers alike.
Fortunately, we can report that there have been no cases of COVID-19 amongst our staff. This has allowed us to deliver our services in the same reliable, prompt and customer-focused fashion as always. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and are prepared to adapt in ways that will ensure, where at all possible, that our service continues.
Our stock levels remain stable and currently we are still receiving regular, undisrupted deliveries from our producers in Germany. We do not anticipate a change in this as things stand, however, we are on standby to make the appropriate and proportional measures should the need arise.
The safety and hygiene practices of our workforce remain paramount. We have implemented an elevated cleaning routine, ensuring all work environments are regularly sanitised. Additionally, hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes have been distributed amongst all staff and are readily available at several stations throughout our offices and depot. Non-essential meetings and contact with non-staff members have been cancelled or postponed in favour of social distancing and remote solutions.
We would like to ensure our customers that every measure is being taken to monitor and follow the most up to date advice issued by the UK government and World Health Organisation.
We are confident that everything that is in our power to do is being done, and will continue to be done to mitigate the impact of this issue on our staff and customers.
