Extended Delivery Information

At The Sausage Man, our standard delivery service is next-day delivery.
For some extended delivery areas, however, our courier requires 48 or 72 hours to complete delivery.

If your address is in an extended delivery area, you will see this clearly marked in the shipping field at checkout before you place your order.

When you place an order to one of these areas, you will:

  • Select your delivery date at checkout (within the 48-72 hour timeframe).
  • Pay in full at the time of ordering (including delivery charges).
  • Agree to these extended delivery terms by ticking the box at checkout.
    • Once you’ve agreed to these terms, you won’t need to accept them again for future orders (unless they change).

How we ship your goods

  • We do not use frozen vehicles for extended deliveries.
  • Instead, your products are safely packed with insulation and ice packs to keep them frozen during the expected delivery window.
  • If the courier experiences unexpected delays beyond 48-72 hours, your products may begin to defrost.

Important conditions you agree to

By placing an order for extended delivery, you confirm that you:

  • Understand that delivery takes 48-72 hours, not next-day.
  • Accept that delivery times cannot be guaranteed, and delays are possible.
  • Acknowledge that The Sausage Man is not liable if goods defrost due to courier delays.
  • Accept that refunds or replacements will not be offered in these cases.
  • Agree that no further compensation is available for indirect losses (e.g. lost sales, lost custom, pitch fees).

Our recommendation

To minimise risk, we suggest:

  • Ordering well in advance of when you need your products.
  • Choosing delivery to a mainland UK address where possible, then transporting goods with you.
