What is Springfest?

We are all very familiar with Oktoberfest, the popular Munich festival filled with tons of German food, drink and fun. We are seeing more and more Oktoberfest’s hosted in the UK, again plenty of German food, drink and fun flowing. Munich decided that one Oktoberfest a year is not enough so Springfest was born. Hosted in April, a smaller version of the loved Oktoberfest but still with the same amazing atmosphere, food, drink and of course fun!

April is now Springfest month, normally warmer than October so there are also outdoor options here. Decorate your venue like a traditional beer hall. Or if have an outside venue, you are halfway there, just add some Bavarian themed decor. Frühlingsfest has so much to offer, flea market, fireworks and even a car show. So many opportunities for a fantastic event.

To make a traditional and memorable Springfest you need the best menu. We have plenty of simple meals to make but all extremely tasty.

• First up you have the classic Bratwurst served in a bread roll, make it a meal and serve with chips.
• Another beer hall classic is the Schweinebraten (Roast Pork Knuckle).
• And of course, you cannot have a German food and drink fest without serving a Currywurst.
• Serve up some German Mac’n’Cheese also known as Kasespatzle.
