Why did you decide to offer hot dog franchising in the UK?
Very simple: we wanted to help business to grow using our name and ideas. We’ve been in this business for quite some time so we know exactly what catering businesses need to succeed.
How long does it take to learn how to use the equipment if I’m a first timer?
Not long at all. With a couple of hours training and two days to work with it as a practice you’ll know how to use the equipment. It’s really easy plus we’re obviously more than happy to help you master every piece of hot dog equipment we sell/rent.
If someone has a related business and they’d like to expand, would this be an option to consider? What are other examples can you give where this sort of business could benefit a caterer?
Yes, this would most definitely be a good idea. It is possible and a great option as we think we do offer very good advertising materials also. Our name is well known in the hot dog business and our quality is the best when it comes to hot dogs, German sausages and hot dog equipment.
Very simply put: we believe that anyone with an interest can succeed with this type of business when they use our equipment and have already their idea in place.
Do you have experience yourselves with this type of business, what advice can you give interested, potential customers?
Using a well-known brand name is always good for businesses (either when it comes to startups or more established ones), specially when they are offering premium quality items and products. It is also important that you know someone who can help you when it comes to advice, and this is something that we help our customers with. We will also give you training and support to make sure you feel absolutely confident when it comes to running your business.
Which are the best hot dogs/sausages to get started with? In fact, what should the first orders entail?
We have a list! Here we go: bacon frankfurters, bratwurst, giant beef chili, mustard, ketchup, curry ketchup, hot dog rolls, crispy onions and, finally, the hot dog plates.
How about the basic equipment to get started?
If you need equipment than the Bain Marie, hot dog stand or hot dog carousel would be good when you’re starting.
What about quantities for first orders, what’s the best way to assess this?
We think you can get started with 60 hot dogs or so as you’ll need to find out what’s your area like and how much stock you’ll need. We will be very happy to chat with you about this if you need some hep and advice getting started making your first orders.
The weather in the UK is known for cold/rainy. How does the equipment stand the test of time?
The sales materials are waterproof, except our gas grill all other machinery is electric so you’ll need some kind of cover parasol or a food tent to protect it from bad weather.
