Ingredients

79% seitan (water, WHEAT PROTEIN), rapeseed oil, salt, yeast extracts, dextrose, sugar, corn starch, spices, wort, citrus fibre, herbs, thickeners: carrageenan, locust bean gum, guar gum; spice extracts, colour: iron oxides and -hydroxides; smoke.

Product handling

Cooking times

5 minutes from chilled. 10 minutes from frozen.

Cooking instructions

Roller Grill, Griddle, Microwave, Bain Marie, Steamer, Deep and Shallow Fry.

Shelf life

When goods are received, please store in fridge or freezer immediately, and defrost the items before using. Once defrosted, keep the items chilled, if unopened please see usage guidance on the packaging. Once opened, use the products within a few days.

Safety

The sausage is 100% pre-cooked, just heat and serve or even eat cold. Risk free.

    3 to a pack and they sell buns in x6, so no left overs lol, taste is spot on, texture, slightly firmer than a meat equivalent, but i love them, they go great as a pizza topping as well, or sausage casserole.

    I’m most definitely a meat-eater but I tried these ahead of a BBQ with a few friends one of whom is a vegetarian. I wasn’t impressed either by the taste or the texture, but my veggie friend thought they were OK.

    Not great on the bbq, with the lack of fat these are difficult to cook although maybe ok on gas bbq. Much smaller than all the other sausages I get from sausageman but flavour was ok

    Being vegetarian for over 25years, I’ve certainly sampled a lot of meat substitutes. This is by far AMAZING!! It has so much flavour and it’s huge!! Nothing like this quality on the market. And I’ve just read you can eat it cold!! That’s a tasty salad topper!! This sausage is 100% tasty! For veggies, vegans, or daring meat eaters! I’ve just ordered more!! Who knows, we may get some sun for a bbq?! ;-P Nom!!!

    Pretty tasty. Tastes a lot better than vegan hot dogs you get at the supermarket. Definitely good for the BBQ but would recommend cook longer than normal hotdogs to get that smokey char taste in it

    Most Vegan hotdogs rely on heavy spicing to cover up a lack of flavour and texture, but these are excellent. A nice subtle spice blend with a bit overpowering smoke flavour. They are a little “rubbery” compared to real meat, but this can be dealt with by BBQing a little more than usual to give some char.
