Since launching our online retail shop during the COVID-19 pandemic we have noticed a demand for authentic German sausages. The flavour, the nostalgia – whatever it is, people love them. Now, we can easily help customers out with a delivery, however it is much easier for the end consumer if they can simply add a pack of Bratwurst to their weekly shop. Plus our every day freezers struggle to hold large packs of 150g sausages neatly. So, we needed to create a solution – The Sausage Man needed to launch in retail.

Farmfoods have initially launched with three of our bestsellers, the Bratwurst, Krakauer Bacon Frankfurter and Cheese Frankfurter. The Bratwurst has always been our number one seller, however the rest of the range keep increasing in popularity. End consumers sometimes want a sausage that has a jazzed up flavour. So, why not try a frankfurter with cheese inside or with a smoky bacon flavour. And thanks to the fantastic launch and the demand, there is now the potential for more lines to be added soon. This new retail venture is only just beginning, so watch this space.
